I feel a lot of Hanzi in your setup. But I have a suspicion you might end in a different place. If I read you right, you are critical of progress as a substrate, not merely the progress we have achieved. This opens a good place for the ‘static metaphysics’ of ontology. Something I feel that is pushed out of the Hanzi narrative on account of its ‘urgent message’. Let’s see where you go ;)
